DomiNIC® supports the new Denic transfer procedureFrom 2008-12-09 Denic starts with a new transfer procedure. The authentication is done by a so called 'AuthInfo' which supersedes the sending of emails. DomiNIC® R5.7 supports the new as well as the old procedure. An 'AuthInfo' can be deposited at Denic directly by the customer, or it can be comfortably ordered from Denic by utilising DomiNIC®. |

Lots of news in DomiNIC®Release 5.7When an order has been rejected by the NIC, the order will be stored with status " Rejected (NIC)". The order can be displayed by searching for the domain using the status as a search criterion. Now the order can be loaded, corrected and sent again. The numerous emails sent by DomiNIC® during order processing have been categorised. Each category can be associated with one or more email address(es), thus ensuring that each email will arrive at the correct address. A special feature of Release 5.7 is the so called "Accounting". With the implementation of the "Accounting" DomiNIC® is now able to provide the data needed by an accounting system. The user enters the order data over the GUI. The DomiNIC®-Business Process Engine (BPE) determines which transactions are neccessary for the complete processing of the order. In several cases more than one transaction is needed. A ticket number is assigned to each transaction, thus yielding more transparency in the handling of orders. A so called "accounting record" is written for each transaction containing the appropriate price information. The "accounting record" is store don the file system and can be used to feed a billing system. The "Domain Lifcycle" in the Administrator's Interface has been adjusted to the "Accounting". Each transaction with the associated price is displayed. Furthe NICs/Registrare have been implemented: - SIDN (Netherlands)
- nominet (Great Britain)
- DNS.be (Belgium)
- .se (Sweden)
- EURid (.eu Europe)
- switch (Switzerland)
- epag (Registrar)
