Right from the beginning DomiNIC® supports the new TLD .rs.

On monday the 10 March 2008 accredited registrars can register .rs domains. Together with other TLDs .rs substitutes the TLD .yu.

At present the Serbian Registry RNIDS only accepts queueing. A queue-order can already be generated with DomiNIC^® with the Registrar ASCIO.

Domains with TLD .yu will be maintained until 30 September 2009, they will end thereafter. Registrants of a .yu domain can register a corresponding .rs domain.  By 10 September 2008 domain names that exist in the .yu namespace will be reserved for their respective owners to register the equivalent .rs domain. After that date the domain names will be released to the public.

Derzeit lässt die serbische Registry RNIDS nur QUEUE-Aufträge zu. DomiNIC^® unterstützt die Queue-Aufträge bei dem Registrar ASCIO.

Die .yu Domains werden noch bis zum 30. September 2009 erhalten. Besitzer einer .yu Domain haben das Recht eine entsprechende .rs Domain zu registrieren. Dafür werden bis zum 10. September 2008 die Domainnamen, für die bereits eine .yu Domain existiert, für deren jeweilige Besitzer reserviert. Danach werden diese Domainnamen für die Allgemeinheit freigegeben.
