The new DomiNIC® Release 6.0
A new look has been given to DomiNIC® with release 6.0. A new graphical user interface has been designed to allow for more intuitive and efficient working.
A fast frontend and efficient processing of orders while the backend is under heavy load have considerably enhanced performance.
Release 6.0 contains three important new features "MultiNIC", "Products & Services" and "Ordering of Contact Handles".
MultiNIC
After appropriate configuration, you can choose between serveral NICs/registrars for the registration of a domain. Moreover, for each reseller the NICs/registrars to be displayed can be configured individually.
Products & Services
The services you offer, e.g. POP3 mailboxes, http-redirect etc. combined to products can be stored in association to a domain. The characteristics of a product, i.e. the comprised services, will be defined at configuration time.
Ordering of contact handles
So far only contact updates could be done with DomiNIC®, in case this was supported by the NIC/registrar. With DomiNIC® Release 6.0 you can order new contact handles without a domain order.
More features:
- the Denic authinfo procedure for a quick and safe transfer of Denic domains is implemented
- the resource records "AAAA" and "HINFO" are now available
- a user right for each resource record type controls who is allowed to edit and modify which resource records
- a new feature enables a reseller to provide documents and links to his customers
