Support of new TLD .rs www.rnids.rs

Right from the beginning DomiNIC® supports the new TLD .rs.

On Monday, March 10 - 2008 accredited registrars can register .rs domains. Together with other TLDs .rs replaces the TLD .yu.

At present, the Serbian registry RNIDS only accepts queueing. A queue-order can already be generated with DomiNIC® with the registrar ASCIO.

Further information:

Domains with TLD .yu will be maintained until September 30, 2009, and they will expire thereafter. Registrants of a .yu domain can register a corresponding .rs domain.  By September 10, 2008 domain names that exist in the .yu namespace will be reserved for their respective owners to register the equivalent .rs domain. After that date, the domain names will be released to the public.
